Spear Education

Our relationship with Dr. Frank Spear goes back more than 30 years. Early on we were tipped off by Dr. Peter Dawson that Frank was “someone special” and we needed to get involved with him, so we did. Frank’s style was laid back and polished. His work, with technician Arnie Lawson, was the prettiest we had ever seen. Pete was right! Frank Spear already was and would continue to be a significant force in dentistry. We hosted Frank here in Virginia several times in the 1990s, encouraging our friends and customers to attend. We have continued to send key staff to classes at their beautiful Spear Center in Scottsdale where Frank has been joined by many of the greatest clinicians in dentistry like Bob Winter, Darin Dichter, Ricardo Mitrani, Jeff Rouse, Gregg Kinzer, and Jim McKee. Some of our customers are part of their teaching faculty, and Bay View Dental Lab is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the Spear Center.
