Submit a Digital Case


We accept digital impressions from most major intraoral scanners. Choose your scanner from the list below and follow the instructions to send us your case. If you don’t see your scanner on this list or have any questions please give us a call at 757-583-1787.

Sirona's CEREC

  • Create or log in to your CEREC Connect account
  • Select “MY CEREC CONNECT”
  • Type “Bay View Dental Lab” in the box for Company Name
  • Click FIND
  • Check the box to the bottom left for “Bay View Dental Lab”
  • Click ADD to complete the registration
  • When sending cases, select Bay View Dental Lab from your list

iTero

Option: 1

  • Select “Find a Laboratory” on your iTero scanner or use the lab locator at www.itero.com
  • Connect with Bay View Dental Lab using our company ID: 2694
  • After connecting to us as a lab, select Bay View Dental Lab on your scanner when sending files

Option: 2

  • Call 800-577-8767
  • Select Option 2
  • Request that Bay View Dental Lab is added to your scanner and identify our lab using our phone number: 757-583-1787
  • After Bay View Dental Lab has been added, restart your scanner
  • After connecting to us as a lab, select Bay View Dental Lab on your scanner when sending files

  • Go to portal.3shapecommunicate.com in a web browser
  • Sign in or create a 3Shape ID
  • Connect with Bay View Dental Lab by searching digitalimpressions@bvdl.com
  • After connecting to us as a lab, select Bay View Dental Lab when sending files

Carestream

  • Visit Carestream Connect on your scanner
  • Search for Bay View Dental Lab
  • Add Bay View Dental Lab
  • Select Bay View Dental Lab when submitting scans of raw STL files
  • Email Bay View Dental Lab at digitalimpressions@bvdl.com

E4D Planmeca Emerald

  • Select “Find a lab” option on your scanner
  • Search for either Bay View Dental Lab or digitalimpressions@bvdl.com
  • Add Bay View Dental Lab
  • Select Bay View Dental Lab when submitting scans

Medit i500/i700

  • Visit www.meditlink.com/register and select “don’t have an account? Sign up.”
  • Select the “Administrator” option under the category that best fits your business
  • Provide your information and check your email for a verification link. This email will also contain instructions to download the software
  • Select “Add New Partner” and search for Bay View Dental Lab to start sending cases to our lab

3M True Definition Scanner

  • Call 3M support at 800-634-2249 and select Option 3
  • Select Option 1 and request Bay View Dental Lab be added to your scanner
  • 3M will then confirm with Bay View Dental Lab and add connection remotely
